The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 37 out of 140 passed the Master Plumber Board Examination. The licensure exam was given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila and Legazpi. It was held in February 2009.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 2,032 out of 3,924 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks. The Marine Deck Officer board exam in the Philippines was held on February 21 to 22, 2009. The professional regulatory board gave the licensure exam in Manila.

333 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,349 out of 2,356 passed the various grades of the written phase of the marine engineer officers licensure exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 26 passed the Professional Electronics Engineer Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila on January 2009.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 5 out of 5 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Board Examination given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila on July 12 and 13, 2008 as per Board Resolution No. 02 Series of 2009 .

2 out of 4 examinees have successfully passed the Board Examinations for Marine Deck Officers given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in July 2002 Practical Phase and the Written Phase in July 2008.
